“Spider-Man” producer Laura Ziskin recently told theater owners at a get-together that she expects “Spider-Man 4″ to land in their theaters in 2011.
The diocese of Rome has banned filming of Dan Brown’s Angels & Demons in two churches that are key to the plot of the religious thriller.
The ban became public after producer Ron Howard asked to film in the churches of Santa Maria del Popolo and Santa Maria della Vittoria, which are mentioned in the book.

Contrary to popular belief, 2003’s Hulk wasn’t really all that bad. It just wasn’t what people were expecting. It was a bit too heady, a little too stylistically alienating for an audience that only really wanted to see a big green guy smashing things. This new version, The Incredible Hulk, set out to be the complete antithesis to the previous film. It goes a much easier route, providing pretty strong popcorn thrills and lots of explosions at the expense of any sort of complexity. It doesn’t make for the most inspired film, but one just can’t deny how fun it can all be.

Disney’s “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” is King of Philippine box-office, ruling at No. 1 with a five-day (June 4-8), nationwide opening weekend of P44.97-million. This was announced today by Victor R. Cabrera, general manager of Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. which sub-distributed the film for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International.

Everything you need to know about Kung Fu Panda is in its title: there’s kung fu in it, and there’s a panda in it. If that isn’t enough to get you rushing into the theater, you obviously have no heart. But to be serious for a moment, Kung Fu Panda is an absolute joy to watch. Fast, funny, and full of heart, this film is probably the best Dreamworks animated feature yet.
Prince Caspian is a markedly different animal from the first Narnia film, The Lion, the Witch, and the
Wardrobe. It’s certainly brasher and much more action-oriented, moving at a much faster clip than the first film ever did. But all the speed came at a price, and while the film does deliver a few grand scenes, a lack of thoughtfulness and character development strip the film of all its magic.

He was most recently seen in the Disney family comedy hit “The Game Plan,” which grossed more than $92 million in the United States and nearly $150 million worldwide. Now, Dwayne Johnson stars as the invincible and impossibly charismatic Agent 23, in Warner Bros.’ new action-comedy “Get Smart.”
Co-star Steve Carell (who plays the title character Maxwell Smart) always knew that Johnson’s sense of humor would shine through as secret U.S. spy agency CONTROL’s reigning superstar. Together, they worked on developing and introducing 23 to the “Get Smart” world as Max’s mentor and idol.
“The great thing about Dwayne is that he has a tremendous action resume but he is also outrageously funny and has a great warm personality, all of which he brings to the part,” states producer Charles Roven. “Agent 23 needs to be not only the epitome of cool, the guy everyone wants to be, but at the same time has to be Max’s benevolent big brother in a way, always encouraging him to pursue his dream of becoming an agent.”
